ABOUT
- This unique variety of cherry tomato is a wild short growing bush that produces clusters of small-medium sized tomatoes characterised with a pointed bottom end.
- The Santorini tomato is a determinate variety, meaning it will grow all its fruit at roughly the same time in bunches.
- Originally a wild growing variety from the mountains in Santorini where it can withstand strong winds, hot climate and rigid conditions.
- For best results pick off the sucker growing shoots in between the main stem and stake with a post/stick for support.
- Plant in full sun and like all tomatoes, maintain hygienic pruning of lower leaves to prevent disease.
- The plant will grow small and bushy around 1-1.5M tall and at wont spread to far if trained correctly, (about 1M spread).
- Plant at least 1M apart to allow them to breath and allow new growth to bush out.
